Most People Who Call Us Have Never Hired an Investigator Before.

That's normal. Most of our private clients are ordinary people dealing with something they never expected to deal with — and they're not sure what to ask, what it costs, or whether hiring someone is an overreaction.

It isn't. Wanting the truth about your own life is reasonable.

Your first conversation with us is free, confidential, and comes with no obligation. If we don't think an investigation will get you what you need, we'll tell you that instead of taking your money.

How It Works

Step 1

Talk to us.

A free, confidential conversation. You tell us what's going on. We tell you honestly whether an investigation can answer it.

Step 2

We agree on scope and cost up front.

You'll know what we're doing, roughly how long it takes, and what it costs before anything starts. You approve any additional time before we spend it.

Step 3

We work. Quietly.

Your subject never knows. Neither does anyone else.

Step 4

You get answers in writing.

A written report with timestamped photographs and video where applicable — documentation that's yours to keep and, if it comes to it, to hand to an attorney.

What You Get

  • A written investigative report, in plain language
  • Timestamped video and photographic documentation where surveillance is involved
  • Date, time, and location records for every observation
  • Documentation prepared to hold up if it's needed in a legal proceeding
  • A direct conversation walking you through the findings

We report what we observed. We don't editorialize, and we don't tell you what to do with it.

What We'll Tell You Up Front

Surveillance takes time.

A single day rarely proves anything. Patterns of behavior usually require multiple days across different times — anyone who promises answers in four hours is selling you something.

Houston traffic is a factor.

Surveillance across Houston's corridors takes longer than clients expect. We build that into the estimate rather than billing you to discover it.

Sometimes there's nothing to find.

That's a real outcome, and for a lot of clients it's the one they were hoping for. We'll tell you plainly either way.

We won't do anything illegal.

No phone hacking, no accessing accounts or messages, no GPS trackers on vehicles we have no legal right to place one on, no recording conversations we're not party to. Evidence gathered illegally is worthless in court and creates liability for you. Everything we do is admissible.

What It Costs

Surveillance is arranged in advance as either an hourly retainer or a flat-rate block of time, depending on the scope of the case. Locate and background work is generally a flat fee.

You'll receive a written estimate before any work begins, and we don't exceed it without your approval. There are no open-ended meters and no surprise invoices.

Your initial consultation costs nothing.

Call (855) RISIKO7 for a straight answer on what your situation would cost.

Nobody Finds Out.

Confidentiality is the entire product. Your inquiry, your identity, and your file stay between you and this office.

  • Communications are private and never disclosed to any third party
  • We don't discuss clients, ever
  • Reports go to you and to no one else, unless you direct otherwise
  • Field work is conducted so that the subject never becomes aware of it
  • Contact us however is safest for you — call, text, or email

Servicio Completo en Español

Questions People Ask

Will my spouse/subject find out I hired you?

No. Discretion is the core of the work. Surveillance is conducted so the subject never becomes aware of it, and nothing in our process notifies anyone that an investigation exists.

Is this legal?

Yes. Everything we do is conducted under a Texas investigator's license and within state and federal law. That's exactly why the evidence is usable.

Can you get into their phone, email, or social media accounts?

No — and no legitimate investigator will. It's a felony, the evidence is inadmissible, and it exposes you to criminal liability. What we can lawfully document is usually more useful anyway.

How long does it take?

Locates and background research typically run 24–72 hours. Surveillance depends on the pattern we're documenting — usually several days, and we'll give you a realistic estimate before starting.

What if I'm wrong?

Then you'll know that, and you can stop wondering. A meaningful number of our cases end with nothing to report. That's not a wasted investigation.

Can I use this in court?

Our reports and documentation are prepared to hold up in legal proceedings, and the investigator is available to testify to the findings. Bring it to your attorney.

Do I have to come to an office?

No. Most private clients handle everything by phone and email.
